Kaya came to his dorm. She timed it quite precisely, making sure she'd find him there. She knocked on his door softly, waiting patiently. She stands there in her black jeans and the strategically torn tee. With her boots, and the sunglasses on her head, there's a distinct similarity to the day he met her. The look is nearly identical, complete with the goth's makeup.
-
Miles opened the door, rubbing his eyes. He was shirtless, in a pair of distressed jeans. He looked at her, and half smiled. He had things to say, but only said one of them. "You look exactly like you did when we first met."
-
Her head tipped slightly as she looked at him. "How ya doin', Spidey?" She stepped through the door, stepped into him, lifting her hands to his face. She came up on her toes, though the boots lessened the distance to be closed. She laid her lips on his in a kiss.
She slid her hands into his hair, and kissed him deeply. Every single emotion she'd felt in the past day came through her lips, though it was mostly the good she tried for.
-
"I'm trying to-" he was cut of by the sudden kiss. His hands fell to his sides, but slowly crept around her waist, giving the kiss just as deep as it was given.
-
She left his hair mussed as she slowly disengaged their lips after a minute or so. She doesn't step back, she only lays her hands at the back of his neck. She sinks back down from her toes, looking up at him. She cleared her throat, saying softly, "I should have done that last night. I should have, but I didn't. So, I had to do it tonight." Her foot kicked the door closed.
One of her raven brows arched slightly. "You were going to say something? And if you want answers, I'm here to give those. No excuses, no apologies. Information. I doubt you remember everything."
-
He raised an eyebrow. "Your right. I don't remember everything. I was going to say that i was trying to clear my head. That night, when you said you feel in love with me, did you mean it?" He said, shaking his hair so it would fall back to normal. "I am in no way trying to doubt you, i just need to know, to help clear my head. So many things, so many emotions. I was a wreck.."
-
She led him to the bed, sitting on it, and gesturing him to sit and face her. "First, yes I meant it. I meant everything I told you. Little spider, I am disaster. I didn't know the details of what the Fates had done before I was born until it was after the fact. I don't regret my choice, and I love Haro. But I love you, as well. As much, as deeply." She sighed out her breath, chin falling to her chest.
"All they did was curse me, they didn't change what I am. And I'm tied to and pulled to you both. Bonded even before either magicks came into play. The ring was the symbol of exactly what I can't have. What I can't give. And it hurt. I'm sorry I ran. It was a hundred times worse than believing you'd forgotten me." Her hands came up, scrubbing over her face. Her face reflects that those wounds haven't healed, they've only just stopped bleeding, so to speak.
-
His face was locked with the floor, them finally coming to hers with a smile. No, I'm sorry. I keep coming to you, hoping that you'll change your mind, knowing its impossible. I still have yet to thank you for my ears. I know what your doing. I realized it shortly after my memory came back." He said, looking deep into her eyes.
-
Her eyes lowered. "You weren't supposed to know that I'd done that. I just...couldn't let you continue on with an injury I gave you. I had to fix it, especially if you were to forget me." She took his hand, lifting his arm, and placing a kiss over the mark she'd given him. "Even this disappeared. It was suppressed to give you a fair chance." She cradled his hand in her lap between both of her small ones.
"I was offered the same choice, but I didn't want to forget you. But I was glad you chose to. I wanted so badly for you to be able to. That maybe you could be happy, and content. Find someone meant for you, and not be hung up on the storm that blew through and screwed you up." Her mouth quirked into a small smile, trying to joke, and not succeeding.
She traced over his hand with her fingertips softly. It gave her something to focus on, something safe. Looking into his eyes could be bad, right then. Too much was written there in her eyes to be read.
-
He gave a small smile, trying to make her give him a real one. "I told you, I owe you my life. You saved mine, at the expense of my ears. I'm fine with that. Everything happens for a reason.. I just think I'm running out. Running out of reasons and time." He said, closing his eyes.
-
Running out of... "Why would you be running out of either time or reasons? What are you talking about?" She scooted closer, nudging him back to lay and cuddle with her. He has a moment to think that her scent is going to linger on his bed, on his pillow, as they both lay back.
She deftly removes her boots, kicking them over the side of the bed, then aligns her body with his, laying chin on his chest. It's clear she's now ready and waiting for an explanation.
-
Mikes took a drop breath. " Ok, you know most things about me, but there is one thing that i haven't told you. As you know, I am an experiment. What you don't know its that my expiration date is two years away from today. " He said, rubbing his face against hers. "Don't worry, please don't. I'm looking for a way to beat it... Its just hard."
-
Those words made the little goddess' heart drop. It was worse than even falling in love with a mortal. Mortals had short life spans, but this was an even shorter period than Kaya expected.
He watches that realization dawn on her, and strike true. Her blue green eyes are pained as she lays on his chest. Another painful truth to the immortal woman. But death of those cherished is no new thing to her.
It takes her minutes before she answers him. "Do you have any ideas how to fix this?"
-
He ran a hand through her hair, kissing her forehead. "It'll be ok. I promise. I don't have any ideas, but I'll get through it." He said, smiling. Her just wanted her to smile. Please smile. He looked into her eyes, his hair partially blocking his view.
-
Kaya saw what he wanted from her, and with a breath blown out slowly, put aside her worry. She had all the time in the world to grieve later. She wouldn't spend the last bits of time with him doing it.
She smiled for him, touching her nose to his. He knows her well enough to know she hasn't completely put it from her mind, only set it aside for him.
She laid her lips on his, kissing him lightly. She wouldn't deepen the kiss. She was leaving that to him.
-
He smiled and returned the kiss, a little deeper than given. He ran a hand along her sides, and kissed her forehead. He knew she was still worrying, but he didn't want her to.
-
She hummed softly into the kiss. She twitches slightly as he finds a tickle spot along her side, and eeps softly. The look on her face says it all. 'Crap, now I'm screwed. He's gonna know that tickled. Crapcrapcrap.' She rolled onto her back, remaining nonchalant, hoping maybe that the spider hadn't realized the power of his newly discovered weapon.
-
Nothing could take away the smile on the spiders face as he saw her reaction. His hand reached for that same spot, tickling her.
-
She jumped, jerked, eeped even as she knew exactly what was coming. As he continued tickling, she began giggling uncontrollably, unwilling to get up or roll off the bed away from him, but still attempting to escape the torturing digits. Held captive by her own desire to cuddle and remain close. Wasn't that just a b*itch?
-
After he put her through enough torture, he pulled her closer, meeting his lips to hers in a gentle dance.
-
She laid acquiescent beneath him, letting his lips take hers gently. Her lips and teeth danced their own delicate and careful steps. Her hand, she rested on his shoulder lightly, kneading at it gently. She makes a small sound into the kiss.
-
Her liners on her bottom lip, nibbling slightly. His brown eyes look into her blue green ones, and he gives a genuine smile, kissing her forehead.
-
She laughed softly as she laid there, fingernails worked lightly through his hair. He's receiving that smile he'd wanted from her. She leaned up and gave him a slow, lingeringly deep kiss, before she laid back down, her head on his pillow. To a certain extent, the little goddess has thrown her hands up and said, 'To hell with it.'
-
He smiled and kissed her back, rubbing his cheek against hers. He intertwined her fingers with his, and rested his head atop hers.
-
The little goddess snuggled down lightly against him. He was getting the chance that he'd had rarely to be casually affectionate with Kaya, and have her be completely relaxed with him.
-
He smiled to himself. "You know, I like times like this, when they do appear. They remind me that sometimes, life isn't as bad as it seems to be."
-
She laughed softly. "Nope, life isn't all bad, at all. I'll try to see that more of these moments are allowed to happen. I'd like to be something that makes you happy, not sad, little spider." She told him, still smiling softly, though her eyes had gone serious. She brushed her lips over both of his cheeks lightly and playfully. And then prentended to nom on the curve of his jaw. She's being humorously teasing.
-
He laughed and began to nom on her arm. "Tis tasty." He said, still nomming. His eyes were playful, and he was laughing.
-
She giggled lightly. "That tickles!" She took her nails over his sides in a very light fashion, trying to make him twitch. She's nomming at his shoulder, her finger nails searching his bare torso playfully for more tickle zones.
-
He twitched and started to laugh uncontrollably. His sides were his weak spot. His torso, however, only added to the laughing. His own hands move to her sides, trying to tickle her back, and he nommed at her neck.
-
She giggled again, squirming beneath him. She continued to tickle him in retribution, nipping at his neck lightly. "You're terrible! You're enjoying tormenting me!" She exclaimed in between giggles. Her fingernails scraped his shoulder lightly, leaving behind red lines.
Her hands mussed his hair as she playfully tried to fight him off. She doesn't put much effort into it, and doesn't seem to mind that he's settled comfortably over her.
-
He stifled laughs with her neck, burying his face into it, nipping slightly. He shifted all of his weight downward, pinning her to the bed. He's laughing hysterically.
-
She's giggling intermittently, still nibbling on his neck. She squirms against him, but it's half hearted at best. She kissed all over his face, still being playful, leaving the last kiss on his mouth, before she licked the tip of his nose playfully.
Just that delicate little lick followed by a mischief filled grin, before she buried her face back in the crook of his neck, her giggle muffled as she hid from any revenge he might have planned.
-
He smiled and licked her cheek in return. He smiled and cradled her face, moving it from his neck. He met his lips to engaging in a gentle dance.
-
Her lips softened under his, engaging in the gentle back and forth of the kiss. She nipped at his bottom lip, then soothed away the sting with a lick of her tongue. Her hands rested on his torso lightly, stroking gently. She's not feeling as aggressive as she has in the best, and was willing to let the man build the kiss as he would.
-
Miles' hands were on her sides,.moving lightly. He deepened the kiss a tad bit, licking her nose lightly. His lip was swollen, not much, from all of the nibbling that went on.
-
a knock came at miles door. haro is looking at his hand. something must be on his palm. "miles, i need to ask you about that sword. "
-
Miles looks at Kaya, kissing her cheek before answering the door. Her opened it slowly. The little spider's hair was a mess, unruly. His torso and back had red nail marks over them, and his lips were slightly swollen, but not much. He looked at Haro, running a hand through his hair. "Hey man. What did you need to ask me?"
-
Kaya leaned on her elbow, seeming relaxed. Her lips are slightly swollen, her cheeks flushed slightly from all the laughing she'd done. He'd been away for a couple of days, off working. He hadn't made it home too often.
She lifted her head, her ponytail touseled slightly. "Hey, koi. What are you doin' here?" She seems absolutely nonchalant, guiltless.
-
haro looked at him and laughed abit. "have a friend over, bro?" he couldnt see inside yet. miles was standing in the doorway. but when he heared her voice... his heart droped. he shoved miles aside and looked at her. "k...kaya..." he looked down, a shade coming over his eyes. no words... nothing more. his body trembled abit but he showed no tears. he left, slamming the door hard, shaking everything in the room. scourch marks could be seen on the door.
-
Miles looked at Kaya with confused eyes. "The hell was that about? Did we do something wrong?"
-
Kaya only shook her head, mystified and vaguely panicked. She sprung off the bed with a nimble grace, at a dead run as soon as her feet hit the floor. A mental message is tossed Miles' way. "I've got to fix this. I'll come back later."
-
Miles was in his room, staring at the ceiling. He decided to go find something to do, to get his mind off of what was happening. He grabbed his suit , changed his clothes, and jumped out of the window.
-
Miles swung into the room, sleepy..tired. He sighed and laid on his bed, drifting into a light sleep.
