Tall black trees are scattered everywhere, The trees here is dead, but doesn't seem to decay for what ever reason, it simply dries out here, and there is not a single creature in sight.
Curious how that grey fog always seems to loom here, and it's so bloody cold!
-
haro leads izzaya here. "is this what you had in mind?"
-
Izaya beamed "This is absolutely perfect! How ever did you find this place. -sigh- it so lovely, absolutely gorgeous!"
-
"..." haro laughed. "you have strange tastes"
-
"strange? Whatever do you mean by that?"
-
"well, most wouldnt see this dead patch as beautiful. but the slender man is likely to be here, correct?"
-
"Oh yes, he's rather likely to show up in this location... I don't see how anyone could possibly dislike a place like this."
-
"perfect. so should we draw that symbol again?" haro asked, prepairing his camra
-
"Okki dokkie lokki," Izaya marks a tree
-
"..." haro sighs. "and now we wait again, right?"
-
"Pretty much," Izaya replied taking a seat on a rather large rock. "WOW this thing is cold," Izaya said as he jumped back up "I would recommend to don't sit on that rock!"
-
"hm? it shouldnt be that cold." he said, kneeling to touch the rock
-
"I don't think touching that is a good idea,"
-
"why not?" he asked, still examining it
-
" I imagine in it hurt my butt, it would hurt your fingers,"
-
haro smiled. "i have an inner flame, im immune to cold"
-
"I see," Izaya responded, he almost remarked on how silly that was, but then he remembered he was piratically a comic book character himself.
-
"why is it so cold here though?" he asked "any idea?"
-
"It's because of all the death of course, places like these try to drain energy from everything round it, so all the heat is sucked right out of the air!"
-
"hm... " haro takes afew pictures of the area.
-
"This place is actually pretty soft core," Izaya put his hands behind his back "Some places like this can get pretty close to Absolute Zero. However, it'as just about impossible to reach."
-
"hm..." haro looked around. "what causes places to get like this?"
-
"They're caused by spirits that have frozen to death. Rather than passing on they become obsessed, longing for warmth. They stay on earth seeking out any kind of energy to create heat an a small consecrated core, they're really toast and nice. They usually lay within large trees, but every now an again you're just out in the open. They're so warm and cozy!"
-
"odd... what causes them to be bound like that?"
-
"well, everyone has their theories," Izaya said lowing his eyes and smiling softly "I personally believe it's due to the fear of death it's self. If you fear death so much, and you're dyeing in the cold, you'll want all the heat you can get, right?" Izaya looked over his shoulder at Haro "it's just from wishing really hard."
-
"hm..." haro looks around. "that makes sense. so my soul will be bound to kaya when i die.." he spoke aloud, though he was talking to himself. the concept gave some solice in mortality. much better than being reincarnated and searching for her all over again.
-
"ta' wha?" Izaya replied, nut sure what Haro was talking about.
-
"well, you said they go after what they desperaitely cling to. warmth. energy. life... and i..." haro shook his head. "never mind, sorry. i was talking to myself"
-
Izaya turned to face Haro completely and said with a softer more kind voice then his norm "If you truly love something, you can let it go"
-
"uguu," Izaya squeaked as a snow flack landing in the end of his noes "awwww, why does this always happen?"
-
"...." haro sighed and nodded.
"its... snowing?.... does the slender man like snow" he asked, half jokingly
-
Izaya lowers his head in disappointment "nooooo.... that means the spirit has departed," Izaya looks up "was it something I said?"
Warmth eminent from the north causing the air to become just below freezing.
-
"..." haro blows alittle flame into the air in an attempt to warm it. "are you ok in this? should we go?"
-
"I guess so," Izaya mumbled "How annoying."
-
'.' u guess we should go or u guess ur ok?)
-
"let's head out," Izaya said as he walked away hanging his head in disappointment.
-
haro walks to the symbol izaya made, running his finger against it before following. "...theres always tomarrow"
-
"hm... I shall depart for now, I'll see you at another time, Haro" Izaya said and he swiftly walked away
-
haro is back in these woods, looking at the symbol izaya drew afew days ago. something drew him back here...
-
Izaya seemingly appears out of nowhere behind Haro and chirps "Hai, Haro!"
Someone wearing such noisy color shouldn't be so silent in movement!
-
"hm?... hay there" he seems unsuprised. he dosnt often get taken off guard. hes still examining the mark.
-
"what, exactly, are you doing? if you don't mind my asking that is?" Izaya inquired.
-
"studying" he replyed. "i was drawn back to the 'slendy' hunt"
-
"Is that so?" Izaya asked "have you dreamt of him?
-
"not exactly. just a feeling that drew me back"
-
"he not in your dreams at all? not even in the background?"
-
"hm?" haro looked at him in confusion. "background?..."
-
"yeah, you know... like he's just kinda... there, you know? anywhere?"
-
"hm..." that was an odd concept... background of dreams? "i... dont know actually"
-
"I wish I could dream, then maybe one day he'd meet me in real life."
-
"what do dreams have to do with meeting him?"
-
"if you dream of him you're likelihood of seeing increases by 30%. Though this statistic could vary, my sample group was only of 372 cases,"
-
"sample group?"
-
"you know, a group of people you watch over for science"
-
"and they saw the slender man?"
-
"they were 30 percent more likely to that those who didn't dream of slendy," Izaya said gleefully
-
"that... dosnt answer my... so they did see him then?"
-
"well not aaaaaaaaall of them, but good portion of them did"
-
"... well thats a good sign. so did any that didnt dream of him see him?"
-
"yes... 30% more of them saw slendy, as opposed to those who didn't dream of him," Izaya said, a little frustrated with who hard it was to explain.
-
"hm... well thats a good sign then. atleast some people have seen him. was anything else incommon between them?
