Kaya grinned. "Aren't most things that way? Always depending on what you have to work with." She moved closer a bit, tucking her skirt around her legs. She'd never really thought about the languages she spoke until now.

"You speak the Romantic languages then. They're much prettier, by far, than the Germanic languages. The latter is so harsh sounding. Even when you tell someone that you love them, you sound angered." She shook her head with a grin.

She shrugged lightly. "There aren't many languages I don't speak, least not those from this place and time. Language is a barrier easily overcome, if someone has the will. Why did you learn those languages in particular?"
