"But all those things bring about growth of people.  Without the need to overcome something, they would remain stagnant, never pushing the bounds of what they are."   She moved closer to the mage.  She smirked lightly, thinking back to her earlier threat to him.  It still stood, the faint feeling of something seeping into the edges of his mind could be felt.  It was subtle, so it was possible it would go unnoticed.  However her eyes never left Shinji's.  The young mage would be feeling less likely to argue with the Queen.
