Mika winced slightly as the wounds fully formed on her, the one to the stomach seeping into her already drenched clothing.  She listened to his explanation her eyes falling steely again.  "You listen to what that man said to you.  I fight with what he told me every day of my life.  He told me I was a freak and a monster that would single handily destroy everyone I cared for.  However I fight against what he called me."

Standing using a tree for support as she puts pressure on her stomach she looked at him.  "If you don't want to fight for your own destiny, then I can't stop you.  You need to make the choice for yourself.  Just because you think you are a monster, is that really a reason to stop fighting?  Before I came to this school there was only 1 person who didn't think I was a monster, and he never said anything then.  The first person who accepted me and told me that I might not be a monster, I met him here.  I hurt him in more ways than I can forgive myself for.  Whether or not some of my actions constitute being a monster, I don't know.  I can still feel his pain, despite the fact he doesn't....."  She trailed off closing her eyes in a mixture of physical and emotional pain.

Opening her eyes again she rubbed her temple.  "Like I said it is your choice, on whether you fight or not."  The lightest of red started to seep through to her fingers from the wound as her wings twitched lightly.

Swallow me under and pull me apart
I understand, there's nothing left
Pain so familiar and close to the heart
No more, no less, I won't forget

I thought you said forever over and over
this sleepless night becomes, bitter oblivion
these thoughts run through my head, over and over
complaints of violins... become my only friends"
