secret beach

hidden between tall rock faces, and under an overhang, theres a section of beach only haro knows of. its his secret hiding spot. his bokken and a bag are here, oddly enough.

Kaya herself barely kept track of where they went or were. She trusted the man that carried her. Though she knew immediately when they were on a beach, and near the ocean. She could hear it, smell it, sense it.

Just being this close to the waters lights the topaz in her eyes, though they didn't burn a sizzling blue yet. It left an interesting effect.

haro sat in the sand holding her in his arms. it was late in the day, so the suns falling light lit up the cave. the view of the sunset from here was beautiful, a perfect view of an ocean sunset. "home sweet home" he uttered to himself. "is this place to your liking?"

She looked up at him, meeting his eyes. The effect there would answer his question, but she has no idea of that. "Yes, it's perfect. Water, sunset, beach. Shelter if it's needed. Absolutely wonderful."

And then her mind picked up on his other words. "Home sweet home?" She lifted an eyebrow, wanting more of an explanation. Like how, why, when.

She looked up at him for a moment. She answered in a dry voice, "Nah, I just thought you said 'Home, Sweet Home' to make the strangest joke on the planet." She stared at him with a bland exression on her face. "Details, maybe? When, how, why here etc? Why don't you have a dorm?"

His answer was satisfactory. She does look at him with her head tilted. "Do you want a dorm room, sweetheart?" She worried after him the way he tended to worry after her. Thus the give and take of loving someone.

She could understand getting used to this place. She could as well. "I'll make you a deal. During the full moons, you come stay with me in my dorm. We can share the bed. Not as if we haven't before, right?" There's a vague light of mischief in her eyes.

"Then for a couple of nights, I can come out here and keep you company. Sound like fair trade?"

She kissed him lightly, amusement and  curiosity in her eyes. "Well that made you a happy man. Why is this?" She cuddled deeper into his body, not wanting to move, and yet the ocean was beginning to call.

She gives him another one of those vaguely awed smiles. "Oh." Seemed to be all she could manage. Sometimes, it still suprised her that her very presence could be so wonderful to someone. And just like that, she was back under the spell he'd weaved on her before they'd gotten to this place.

She looked up at him with that mute fascination and awe in her eyes.
