The thing sniffed and sniffed, but didn't seem to find what it looked for. It gave a grunt and padded away, the door closing behind it. Hunter remained as he was for a full minute before he moved. A small light glowed from his palm, allowing illumination.

"Looks like we might be camping here for a little bit. I didn't realize that it was already time for the dogs to be on rounds." He shook his head. "Perception of time is so odd here." He now stood about four inches away from her, green eyes once more on her.

He visibly tried not to let his eyes move over her, as if he wanted to memorize who she'd become. It didn't work very well to try and stop it. He'd seen the questions on her face, and would give her time to ask them.
