Penny for your thoughts / Suggestions! [Now with Poll]
« on: March 02, 2013, 07:49:02 pm »
Mind you these are just suggestions:

  • How about putting personality in character profiles?
  • I'm not sure if it's just me, but the massive signatures are a tad annoying. Could we put them in spoiler tags?
  • How about a bit of clean up on forum, with capitalization on the titles and descriptions. I'm not a nitpicker, but still... There are those who find that sort of thing a turn off.

I'm guessing there is an arc going on, but most of the players and those involved are heavily in with it or gone. Thus, there would still be wiggle room to have a new event to run alongside it? Or at least a minor event.

Heavy irked by the acts of those who don't dare arms themselves with knowledge, instead of just embracing ignorance. Clicking his tongue and simply narrowing his eyes already betraying how he felt on the subject. He breathed a heavy sigh, listening in on her story. "Simply people fear what they don't understand, if it diverts from the norms of society it must be deemed deviant and evil." Though, he wouldn't mind having a sample of a feather or two from her additional appendages. "Hm, it would seem I'd have to enlist the help of a body guard or something along those lines from one of the student body, if I must head out further." Even if he had been lightly armed, he'd have to find extra help with divine research. For nothing must get in his way...

With a post count that high, I wouldn't doubt it.
Well, set a bear trap for an admin and now to hammer out the finer details.

Well, if story lines aren't an issue at this current time. Then to recruiting new blood then, or at least drumming of more interest into this forum...?

Well, if that's so. Then breathing new life with fresh blood and brain storming new story lines/plots is due.

Browsing around, it seems I might of joined in at the end of this place's life cycle. Either that, or there is far too many nay-sayers. Is that so?

The knee-high grass waved in a light breeze whistled and tickled the tips of their stocks. Various large rocks and stones were the only other feature that dotted the area other then the overabundant common flora. Geist sat on one such rock with legs crossed, humming some off-tune melody to himself while scanning over the vast landscape.  Having free time on his hands, it would deem this to be worth while venture to add to his own stock or make some new discoveries. It seemed like this would be a decent place to start gathering alchemical ingredients of flora or if luck would deem it fauna too.

He still listened in on the conversation, even if I could of he had heard something. Shaking his head as his mind was most likely in a delusional overdrive. "Pleasure to meet you, it'd seem." Adding as he turned his fuller attentions back to her. "Well, as with any institute of higher learning. I came for the information and what knowledge lied within. Though, I hear the sights aren't bad either." Nodding in a pseudo-sagely fashion, then gesturing to her with two fingers outstretched. "What about yourself, then?"

Tilting his head off to the other side, just letting his hand slip back to his side. "Usually, introductory norms can vary from person to person."Tossing a glance away from her while taking a brief pause, eyes refocusing on something off in a far corner. "That would be, Geist.  I  hope I haven't interrupted any important studies." Finally just setting a case he was carrying down onto the floor, in turn squeezing his hand open and close to chase away the feeling pins and needles.

Tapping his cheek, partly left in mental quandary and finally offering of a singular nod. "That would be correct, stranger." Adding in turn before offering off his only free hand out to her. Now if he was more familiar with the rest of the student body, it would have to wing it for this juncture.

He tilted his head off to one side tilt the stiffen neck joints popped. Still, in his casual stride and made mental notes in his head. Tapping the side of his cheek, murmuring under his breath "Alatus sapian." Finally casting his eyes back up to her face after making his final judgements. "I take it, you're a fellow student then?" Asking his default mellow tone, it was a first step before going into the lengthy dance of introductions.

Geist placed a single hand to his mouth to stifle back a small yawn that had taken over. This of all places seemed like a perfect start to acquire more information. Yet, so far it had seemed he hadn't encountered a single hindrance as of late.  Pushing back a single strand of hair that had fell across his facade, before he finally came to notice he wasn't alone in this current location. "It couldn't hurt to make a few acquaintances," he mentally noted as he slid his hands behind his back and strolled casually in the direction of the stranger. His boots clacking slightly on the floor, partly announcing his presence.
