Mika sat at the top of the mountain swinging her feet back and forth as she sat at the edge of a boulder. Running her fingers through her hair with a sigh, she let her mind wander the one place she hated it to go. To her past, she spend most of her time trying to hide from it, but it seemed unavoidable as of late.

Mika's blood ran cold at the sound of the voice. The reaction that voice could have, was still clearly noticeable. Her wings snapped folded against her back. Literally jumping of the boulder she spun and faced the source of the voice. Wide steely eyes stared up into the branch. "You? What are you doing here?" her voice cold and shaky.

She rolled her eyes softly, "You're checking in on me always bring such joy into my life, excuse me for being suspicious." A layer of sarcasm laced her words. Bowing deeply with a spread of her wings she looked back up at him. "And how have you been father dearest?" She folded her arms across her chest, keeping a cold gaze on him.

Mika tilted her head lightly. New kin? A quick realization let her know exactly what that meant. "I see, is that all you came for?" Ever the skeptic when it came to her father. She kept her body language guarded, but knowing what the last time she did something rash around him resulted in, she stayed quiet. Knowing in an instant she could be in a very bad situation if she wasn't careful.

Placing a hand on her hip she glared at him. Her hand fell on her neck, where her brother had bit her and drank her blood on instinct. "Kurei, of course. Its not like you could leave him showing up alone. The care you show knows no bounds." She rubbed her forehead lightly. "Is there a reason you came to check up on me? I doubt I'm all that interesting. I haven't had a child or newly awoken, and the last time i saw you, you decided to activate me."

A perplexed expression crossed her face. He saw her mentally stronger than someone? She thought she was the mentally weak child, the easily controlled one. "My mind, I guess you can say it mended. Not without scars however. Nightmares can be a powerful thing. " Her eyes softened slightly, as a few of the images flashed through her mind.

A hint of confusion still reading on Mika's face, she sighed and rubbed her temples. "I get the feeling I would be escorting you there whether I chose to or not." Wary about going anywhere with her father, but what was she going to do, run? She slowly lead the way down the mountain.
