Title: A disguise from the devils [costume shop, 10/27 late afternoon, invite]
Post by: haro masamune on September 19, 2012, 09:30:38 pm
Haro and Kaya enter the shop together, looking around. With Halloween drawing near, and both having forgotten, last minute costume shopping is the task for today.

There's little doubt that the little siren remembers their last trip into this place. A not often seen thing, the little goddess' cheeks flamed red. She goes to a rack that seemed full of things worthy of a princess. She averted her eyes, struck by the shy faeries. That red isn't going away.

Upon seeing her blush, Haro smiles, just abit deviously, comes behind her as shes looking around, and wraps his arms around her.
"Are you feeling ok?" He asks softly, his cheek against hers.

She swallowed audibly. She knew that he knew, and was very purposefully being a tease. She couldn't quite bring herself to be mad at him, though. She turned her head to look at him, cheeks still burning, but no one could call her a coward. "I'm just fine, koishii. Just remembering, is all." Yeah, she might have been tempting the very devil, but it happened. She flipped casually through the dresses, and really tried to ignore the rabbiting of her pulse. Tried.

He rubs his cheek up against hers, his too, have gained some color, but its much less noticable than hers since hes doing the teasing.
"Remembering?" He asks, clearly teasing just by his tone. "Remembering what?"

Her ocean eyes narrowed slightly, and she turned in his arms. "Thinking about what you want to know?" She asked him. Her cheeks might still have that color to them, but she can play this game, too. Her arms wrapped around his neck, and she spoke low in his ear. Step by step, she backed him up. Graceful, careful. And she kept him just hooked enough in her voice that he wouldn't necessarily notice that they moved.

"I'm remembering the look on your face when I unveiled that shedevil costume. Having you kneeling at my feet. All those ideas skipping through my head." She let her teeth scrape against his neck lightly for just a moment, weaving a siren's spell as she hadn't in quite some time on him.

"And I remember being pressed to this wall." She said just as he found his back against the same wall she herself had been pressed to. "Pressed to this wall, and..." Her voice trailed off low in his ear, outlining in vivid detail, and in explicit terms exactly what had occurred. Sometimes, it was easy to forget that his soon to be wife had that sort of language inside her. She'd neatly turned the tables on him. Point, set and match.

Her lips nibbled after she got done speaking. It might be entertaining to see if he had enough blood left in his head to turn his cheeks red.

His eyes went just abit wide in suprise as she took control, his face taking that cherry color that had become harder to bring forth as time went on.
"R-right... t-that.. hehe..."
Yeah... She won. She deffinately won.

She chuckled against his skin. And gave one more delicate lick after she nipped his neck. She didn't break the skin, but there's a bit of scrape in that bite. She leaned back down, that cat that got the cream smirk on her lips. "Never forget, koi. Your soon to be wife is still a bit catlike. We stalk tasty things well." She laughed softly, taking one of his hands to kiss the palm lightly, and suck perhaps a little suggestively on his fingertips.

She let him go, and sauntered back to the costume rack she required, ocean eyes scanning the selection critically. Still, the little siren kept most of her senses on her mate. She needed the right dress...

Mika had somehow come to find herself wandering though the market.  Guided by absolutely nothing other than a desire to keep away from her room she wandered into the nearest store.  Her hair messily tied back but still draping down slightly in front of her face.  She rubbed her eyes lightly and looked around to see where she had ended up.  Seeing the costumes she sighed lightly realizing again just how late in the year it had become while she was gone.  She absently walked to the nearest rack moving costumes around on the rack, fairly oblivious to the world around her.

As she left him, he was left leaning against the wall, trying to let the blood, now in afew places, but not his brain, return to where its needed.
Once he could function again, he walked over to join her.

Ocean eyes looked up, and one raven brow arched slightly. The little goddess had taken to being rather protective of the girl that had just wandered in. This was no less one of those situations. She meandered toward Mika, making sure to make some noise to warn of her approach. "Hey, chica. Feeling well enough to wander, at least. I was going to ask if you wanted to be our dragon. It's got this awesome costume and mask. If you'd like to still go." She said. There's none of that false cheerfulnes that people tried. An empath knew better.

Mika's head rose slowly at the sound of Kaya's approach.  She smiled weakly, before it fell again.  "I can't stay in my room all day every day.  No matter how much I seem to want too.  I also seem to have played my violin too much in an attempt to drown out some of the quiet."  She shook her head lightly, glancing at her sore fingers.

She nodded lightly to the offer, "I really need to get out a bit more.  My room is starting to feel like solitary confinement at the orphanage."  She shivered lightly.  "If it has a mask, I'm up for it.  I'm still not entirely sure how many people I can deal with face to face."  There was no attempt to hide anything from Kaya.  She would tell her exactly how she was feeling.

Kaya nodded. She completely understood that sentiment. "That is no problem. I've even got some things that'll disguise you entirely. Nobody will know it's you, if you don't want them to. It'll do you some good to get out of your dorm. This weekend, you're moving into the guest bedroom of the house." The other bedroom. Other than the baby's room. Kaya averted her eyes for just a moment.

Mika couldn't really know, but all this had lined up with a bit of her own tragedy. And it was always better to tend another's than yours

Haro was hanging back, letting them talk. He couldnt realy be a part of it, not knowing what was going on. But when her mind drifted to the baby, he knew it. He wrapped his arms around her and put up a smile, trying to drift her mind from it, he changed the subject.
"So, since were all here, lets get our costumes together." He says with a clearly forced cheerfulness.

Mika nodded lightly, "Disguising me entirely....sounds like a good plan to me."  She paused for a moment in response to Kaya's suggestion, "Are you sure?  I mean my dorm isn't currently my favorite place to be, but it still is a place to stay that isn't....." She trailed off stopping herself, turning away from thoughts of her once home back to the suggestion.  "I wouldn't want to impose or be a bother."  She noticed the slight aversion in Kaya's eyes, but she wouldn't push.  She understood not wanting to talk about sensitive issues.

She smiled weakly at Haro, "Sounds like a plan to me.  I wouldn't mind looking around with you guys."  It's not like she was dying to get back to her room anyways, and spending time with people was probably for the best at this point.  Kaya and Haro were two of the people she could handle spending time with, knowing she wouldn't be pushed.

Kaya blinked, looking behind her at Haro, touch more than anything bringing her mind back from the path it had begun traveling. She flapped her hand at Mika, waving away the protests. "If you were a bother, I wouldn't invite you. You know me better than that. It's better for you to be with people than to be cooped up in your room. They're also less likely to bother you at my place."

She turned her head, placing a kiss on Haro's cheek, before she moved from his arms, and went to slide an arm around Mika lightly. "There's the dragons over here. We've got red, blue, green, black and some other crazy ass colors."

Mika smiled lightly at Kaya's reaction to her worrying.  She nodded at the reasoning, it made sense to her.  At some point people would probably have figured she had moved back to the dorms, and she didn't really want to deal with them looking for an explanation.  She just always worried about imposing, but she was incredibly grateful for the offer.  "Alright then, I'll come to stay with you guys."

At Kaya sliding an arm around her she let herself be led to the dragon costumes.  She  rested her fingers lightly against her chin in thought as she looked a the colors.  "Normally I would say black.  I'm not sure my wardrobe has much more than smallest splashed of color other than black."  She bit her lip lightly thinking about it.  "But maybe going with a different color would be a good change.  It's also less likely anyone would ever think it was me."  Her fingers drummed lightly against her chin, as she looked at the brighter colored costumes.

Haro smiled and followed. "Maybe a red or a purple would be nice"

Kaya looked over the colors, eyes also taking in the blue and copper. "Both the blue and copper could be interesting. And copper dragon fits you to a T, Mika. It's pretty perfect. And I highly doubt anyone would guess that it was you." Red didn't call Kaya. Purple, though, was pretty. She tilted her head slightly in consideration of options.

Mika took a step closer to the costumes looking closer at the suggested colors.  The copper and the purple were the two that caught her eyes the most.  Something about the Red, reminded her of Shinji too much, and the blue was more Miyako's color rather than hers.  She ran her fingers over the purple one.  It really was quite a pretty color.  The copper one shimmered slightly, it definitely was different from anything she normally wore.  She was in agreement with Kaya, no one would recognize her in it, nor the purple one.  She twisted a lock of hair around her finger, trying to decide.   "Hmmm, I like both the copper and the purple."  She contemplated a bit longer.  "Maybe the copper though."
