Days passed, blurring into one another. She spent so much of her time studying her targets, absorbing them, their mannerisms, their personalities, their very thoughts and intentions, that she occasionally felt as if she were going insane.
Becoming another person, taking on their being. It was a bit like taking on a new personality, like another being existing inside of you. Little things wore off on her. Vague accents or gestures that weren't hers. It's obvious Sienna is pushing herself. Possibly beyond her own limits, mentally at the very least.
Nera had come home to find her muttering, and strangely, chopping up vegetables. She's her redheaded self, eyes alternately stormy silver and molten gold and entirely focused elsewhere. She seems distracted through dinner, and he can't get a heads or tails of any of it. She mutters in a smattering of languages, one of them clearly a celestial tongue.
She climbed into a bath. All seems quiet for a half an hour as she soaked. The smell of the bubble bath seeped from the bathroom, strawberries and vanilla. And then a scream shattered the peaceful silence.
