Mika leaned on Jasper's shoulder, smiling softly.  She was still confused, and everything still hurt.  The wounds had been brought closer to the surface again, but she bit them back.  She focused on enjoying the quiet moment with Jasper, her feathers ruffled lightly. "I missed you." she said quietly.  Jasper was one of the things in her life with Shinji, she had really missed.  She had grown close to him.  He had become a good friend, but she had been avoiding him avoiding thinking about Shinji, and trying to make the new start.
