Sachima and Haro had found themselves in a good sized courtyard in front of this hotel. Compared to the rest of the town, it looked stately, expensive. The older of the pair could likely gather that this was how they'd made their money, by bringing in tourists.
The doors of the establishment are carousel doors. It takes pushing it physically to move them, and they don't move quickly, but both manage to deposit themselves in the foyer of this hotel.
It opens up into a cavernous and echoing place. Large windows let light inside, but shadows are cast far and wide around the two.
There is an old checkout desk, still neat. Old flyers still tucked into plastic holders on the walls, brochures for various things, maps. At one time, this place was full of vibrant color and life, but now it is still and chillingly dull. As if life had been drained from this place.
